Week 5, Day 4 - Day Off

Another day off! My training plan is almost too easy really - 4 days a week seems like I'm just a part-time runner. I've been looking at training plans today and 5k races. I think that's what I'll do next - I'm going to train for a 5k and then move on and train for a 10k and then perhaps a half-marathon. After than a marathon perhaps? Not sure at the moment!

  • I replied on my blog. For what it's worth, you're not really training only 4 days per week. The recovery days in between are just as important if not more important than the actual running days. The days in between are when your body is rebuilding and getting stronger and recovering from the stress you incurred running the day before. Be patient!!!
